Endodontics
Relieve tooth pain and save your natural teeth.
Endodontics treats the inside of the tooth, the pulp, where the nerves and blood vessels are located. When the pulp becomes inflamed or infected because of deep decay, a crack or a blow to the tooth, it can cause intense pain, sensitivity to hot and cold, swelling or an abscess.
Root canal therapy removes the damaged pulp, cleans and disinfects the canals inside the root, and seals them to prevent new infections. With modern techniques and local anesthesia, the procedure feels very similar to having a filling, and it allows you to keep your natural tooth instead of extracting it.
